Guatape is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours drive from Medellín, making it an ideal weekend getaway. The most convenient way to reach your lake house is via private car service, which we can help arrange, or by taking a comfortable bus from Medellín's North Terminal to Guatape town, followed by a short taxi ride.
All our Guatape lake houses offer direct lake access and typically include a private dock. While some premium packages may include a boat with a driver, most rentals provide access to the lake and options to rent various watercraft, such as kayaks, jet skis, or motorboats, through our concierge service for an additional fee.
You can expect a range of high-end amenities designed for comfort and relaxation. These often include multiple spacious bedrooms with private bathrooms, fully equipped gourmet kitchens, expansive outdoor living areas with stunning lake views, private infinity pools, and dedicated staff for cleaning and maintenance. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair while accounting for the demand for luxury rentals. Typically, cancellations made more than 30 days prior to arrival receive a full refund, while cancellations within 15-30 days may incur a 50% charge. Cancellations within 14 days are generally non-refundable, but we encourage travel insurance. Specific terms will be outlined in your booking agreement.
